Morning Routine

Math – We learned 2 new math centres, and practiced with a partner. We will be starting math centres again next week.

Recess

Daily 5 – Hi-5 Groups – I read with Dominic, Sidd, Chase, Caden, Maggie, and Leica.

Lunch

Talking Circle – We talked about what playing fairly vs. playing unfairly looks like and sounds like. This served as a much needed reminder for many students in the class.

Science – We reviewed the defining qualities of mammals, amphibians, fish, birds, reptiles, and insects. The students designed their own animals including their name, habitat, diet, and classification.
