Morning Routine

Math – The students worked on a variety of tasks to practice measuring the weight of objects with nonstandard units.

Recess

Daily 5 – Hi-5 Groups – I read with Annalise, Niki, Grayson, Kellan, Parker, Charlie, and Ava.

Lunch

Phys. Ed. – We completed our Canada Games Activity Challenge and some catching activities with a partner.

Science – We looked more closely at the property of absorption. We tested how different materials absorb water including fabrics and different kinds of paper towels.

Recess

Choice Centres – While the class worked on choice centres, I worked individually with Genius Hour groups to help focus their ideas into a project.

Clean-Up/Quiet Time – Madi read for us.
