Morning Routine

Math – We began our next mini-unit on measurement of mass. In groups the students estimated and weighed objects from around the classroom using nonstandard units for comparison.

Recess

Daily 5 – Hi-5 Groups – I read with Nev, Tiago, Sam, Chase, Dominic, Caden, Maggie, and Sidd.

Lunch

Science – We learned about vocabulary for properties of solids and liquids. We then examined and tested a variety of solids and liquids to determine their texture, buoyancy, transparency, translucency, opaqueness, viscosity, colour, shape, smell, and taste.

Recess

Arts Ed. – Mme. Jasper

***Our pizza party is tomorrow! Students do not need to bring a lunch but should bring a drink and snacks as only pizza will be provided.
