Morning Routine

Math – The students finished up their nonstandard measurement activity. I challenged them to put all of the objects they measured in order from shortest to longest – and they realized they could not! We learned about how we need to use the same nonstandard unit to measure things if we want to compare lengths.

Recess

Daily 5 – We continued to work on our Spring poems – students are at various points in the process of drafting/editing. Before lunch, we played a Word Work game as a class.

Lunch

Science – The students shared their liquids/solids posters, and we did an experiment to better understand how to differentiate between liquids and solids.

French – Mme. Jasper

Recess

Dance/Drama – We did a movement activity and started working on puppet shows.
