Morning Routine

Math – We worked on figuring out addition and subtraction problems based on math facts that we KNOW. (example: we KNOW that 5+5=10 so without counting we can figure out that 5+6=11 since 6 is one more than 5). We learned 3 new math centres. I worked with Grayson, Emery, Maggie, Tiago, Parker, and Caden.

Recess

Daily 5 – Hi-5 Groups. I read with Luke, Emery, Leica, Max, Parker, Nev, and Kellan.

Lunch – Thanks again to Jiselle’s family for the farewell pizza lunch today!

Phys. Ed.

Social – We talked about conflict resolution strategies and created comics demonstrating situations we could apply these to.

***It has been brought to my attention that our first skating day (December 14th) will have to be cancelled due to the Christmas Concert full rehearsal which will be running that morning. I will try to reschedule another date for the new year, however, if I am unable, refunds ($1.50) will be done through the online payment program.
